Why Andreas Graupner is convinced of rendeMIX

Baunach specialist partner, Mr Andreas Graupner, Managing Director of Graupner Bäder-Heizungen-Solar GmbH in Schwarzenberg, has implemented the rendeMIX heat distribution system on a buffer storage tank. We were able to ask Mr Graupner about the system and find out why he uses the rendeMIX every time:

Have you already had experience with the efficiency of the plant?

Condensing boilers and boilers, for example, that are connected to a rendeMIX heat distribution system are operated much more efficiently. Because the return to the condensing boiler is as cold as possible, a lot of condensate forms on the flue gas heat exchanger, which increases the efficiency of the system and thus significantly reduces consumption. In addition, this increases the life expectancy of the condensing boiler.

The probability that the heat exchanger of a gas condensing boiler will have to be replaced is significantly lower for systems with rendeMIX.

What are the advantages of a rendeMIX and why do you use it?

The rendeMIX supports the buffer storage to a considerable extent. This is realised through significantly better stratification. The higher capacity of the buffer tank results in longer switch-off and burner running times. This then results in much better heat management.

At the latest when I have two heating circuits, I benefit from the two-zone discharge and simultaneous return utilisation. I can make the best possible use of the return flow of the high-temperature heating circuit as the flow of the low-temperature heating circuit. In addition, the rendeMIX mainly extracts the mixed water from the buffer tank at the purple connection piece and only adds hot or cold heating water if required.

Would you recommend craftsmen to use Baunach?

Yes, definitely. Because it serves the health of the boiler extraordinarily well, regardless of which heat generator it is.

The difference is clear for solid fuel boilers at the latest. These want a work and load of 100 %. And here, the rendeMIX fits like a glove with its intelligent extraction.

I don't need a distributor, as I have my three connections for tapping the buffer tank at the bottom, i.e. one connection for the flow, two in the return and another four connections (flow and return) to the heating circuits. Accordingly, the installation works very quickly.

Nevertheless, one should have understood the heating system as a whole. The entire system must be right. The basis and periphery, consisting of the heat generator, buffer storage and rendeMIX must complement each other.

"This is great cinema."
